The last appearance currently planned for The Village Band was at Folk by the Water 2015 at the The Bridge Inn in Shoreham by Sea on Sunday, 18 July.
Furthermore, they have announced that they are not taking on any more gigs this year.

The Village Band play Irish music and have been performing in front of audiences since 1990. The six band members meet regularly at Mary’s house to swap songs and learn new tunes. The line up of the band has hardly changed over time, retaining five of the original members. The Village Band play mostly around the Worthing and Brighton area.
The Willows Folk Club, Arundel
The Village Band are an exciting local band who play a blend of up-beat, foot tapping Celtic songs and instrumentals with energy, enthusiasm and instrumental brilliance. They brought the house down when they came and played a floorspot at the Willows last year.
The band members are, Steve - mandolin, banjo, guitar and vocals. Louise - penny whistle, flute and vocals. Aprile - violin and vocals. Gareth - guitar and vocals. Ed - bodhran and bass. and Mary on accordion.

On Friday 25 February 2011, The Village Band had a recording session in the state-of-the-art music and recording studios of Northbrook College, Sussex. The engineer presiding was Mike Bignell.
The finished result is a four track EP album entitled Northbrook. The tunes can be heard via the media player in the Audio Tracks section of this site.
